Description:
Rooster is a 5 year old Blue Valentine/Driftwood bred horse that I raised and have used on a big cow outfit since I started him. He is gentle to be around, solid, and good minded. He has done everything from shipping cattle, dragging calves, doctoring yearlings in the feedlot and outside, gathering big pastures, and sorting. He does good in tight spaces, crosses water and timber, has been around lots of wildlife, and has pretty much done everything needed of a horse on a ranch and does it well. I’ve had him in the arena some and he rates and tracks and is pretty cowy. It wouldn’t take much to start hauling him to ropings. Guaranteed sound. oxbowquarterhorses.com
