John Piland had developed a reputation as an outstanding saddle maker using the best material and workmanship at an affordable price. Mike Anders was working for him at the time John down-sized and a short time later retired. Mike went into business as LIVE OAK SADDLERY continuing to make saddles almost identical to those he had been making while working for John. This saddle is in near new pre-owned condition built on a 17” Buster Welch tree. It features rough-out seat and fenders, geometric carving on the fork, rear housing and cantle binding. A rope design border adds eye appeal. Comes complete with cinches and stirrups. Maker marked in six places . $2,450.00 includes shipping to the lower 48. Please, phone calls only.
