Description:
"JW 1" marked double mount Gal-Leg silver overlay engraved spur & bit set by maker Jerry Wallace of Madill, OK. The spurs are double mounted with silver overlaid engraved steer heads on the outside heel bands and a shield pattern on the inside heel bands. They feature a gal-leg pattern w/ plenty of silver/brass engraved overlay on the rest of the heel bands, shanks and buttons. Also included is a matching "JW" marked silver engraved overlaid steer head bit. This is #1 in a series of 7 McChesney patterns that Mr. Wallace did back in the day.

Rowel Diameter: 1 3/4", Number of points on Rowel: 14, Heel band opening: 3", Overall length: 6". Cheek length: 6 1/2", Shank length: 3 7/8", Mouth: 4 7/8".
