Description:
Scarmardo Ranches located in Caldwell, Texas has an opening for a Feed Truck Driver/ Ranch Cowboy Position at our Caldwell, Texas Ranch location.

This position is a full time, year-round, hands-on position that is responsible for the daily care of cattle.

Daily Task includes but is not limited to:



- Ensure correct and timely ration delivery

- Maintains accurate ration records & reporting documentation

- Maintain cleanliness of feed bunks before and after inclement weather

- Maintain overall maintenance of feed truck, notifying ranch manager of any repairs needing to be done.

- Must be adaptable to an irregular work schedule, to possibly include evenings, weekends & holidays.

- Shipping and receiving cattle

- Doctoring and backgrounding cattle in preparation for grass or feed yard.

- Pen & pasture maintenance as needed

- Other various tasks assigned by the Ranch Manager



Benefits/Compensation:



- Salary: TBD Based on Ability & Experience

- Company paid housing

- boarding/feed/farrier for up to two horses, used on the ranch.

- Other benefits such as medical, dental & 401K are to be discussed.

Job Qualifications:

- Must have a valid driver’s license

- Previous industry knowledge is a must

- Horsemanship skills

- Pass background check & drug test
