For Sale: Blue Cheese – 2019 AQHA Blue Roan Gelding – 15.1 HH

Blue Cheese is a 2019 AQHA registered blue roan gelding standing 15.1 hands tall. We purchased him from a friend in Idaho who used him extensively in a feedlot. There, Blue Cheese got a solid foundation working pens, sorting cattle, loading trucks, and managing gates. That experience helped shape a calm, willing mindset and a strong work ethic.



Since bringing him to Wyoming, he’s been put to work on a large, rugged ranch. He’s seen big country and all the elements—mountains, downfall, rocky terrain, water crossings, and wide-open spaces. He’s roped yearlings, branded calves, trailed broodmares, and handled any job we’ve thrown his way.



Blue Cheese has a laid-back, friendly personality. He wants to please and be part of the crew, yet he’s still full of life and ready for any task. He’s fun to sort on, quick to run to cattle, and when the job’s done, he’ll stand there like an old soul. Lately, he’s become our go-to horse—one you can saddle up and trust to get the job done, no matter what it is.



Last winter, he had a few months off. The first time back, he went straight to roping, tying down, and loading yearlings without missing a beat.
