Description:
Central New Mexico ranch looking for Caretaker/ranch hand. Full time employment starting December 1, 2025. 20,000 deeded acre ranch, running 200 pairs. Can work with different levels of experience. Male or female, single or a couple. Housing is furnished one bedroom home with high speed internet. Family size would need to fit one bedroom home. Duties would include, ability to move 200# tubs off pickup bed, lift 50# blocks of salt. Feed cattle cubes, repair fences, maintenance of grounds and facilities. Operate steer skid, break ice, Identify sick cattle, move cattle horse back, roping not a necessity. Assist in calving heifers. Housing will not be available until November 21, 2025. Salary based on experience. Grass hay for up to two horses. Owners live on ranch. Must have a valid drivers license, pass a drug test/background check & must speak English, three non related references. Housing has separate stalls and round pen and 3 miles from headquarters. Ranch pickup and trailer furnished.
