Pick is a 7yr old, 14.3 hand, 1100 lb sharp looking bay ranch gelding. This good looking, well made, gentle gelding is also an extremely well bred cowhorse. He is a son of the 6666’s AQHA World Champion, Sixes Pick and out of a daughter of Genuine As Diamonds, a full brother to Shining Spark. Senior citizen quality gelding that is a superior ranch gelding for anyone to be mounted on. We have owned him since the first of the year and we used him all spring here on our ranch and neighboring and then sent him to a very good hand and friend to use for a few weeks shipping yearlings and branding. He’s been hauled a lot and has good manners and is a pleasure to be around. Pick is very good to rope on outside, he’s cowy with plenty of run and rate and will work a rope to tie one down. Strong by the horn and has drug plenty in the trailer and to the branding fire. He is a gentle gelding that stays gentle, with a big soft eye. He has a big smooth walk and a rocking chair lope, yet can ride around when asked to, he can cover some country and go anywhere a cow goes, even if it’s in the middle of a tank! Been used with dogs to gather cattle, broke to a cow whip, easy to catch, saddle, shoe, trailer and tie. More on our website www.boydranch.net
