ATTENTION!!

Once again we find ourselves WITHOUT any interns heading into this fall to assist with halter breaking our 2025 foals. We started last March with hiring 5 interns for May-Aug and May-Dec and for various reasons they are no longer here. Our daughter is expecting baby #3 in November and will only be able to assist for a little longer and will stay on maternity leave until spring 2026.

Without assistance to halter break we will be discounting prices to get our foals moved on to new homes. We are super proud of our 2025 foals and very proud of many of our stallions.

This pricing will have them vaccinated, boostered, dewormed, handled 2 times (maybe more), weaned and eating well for 2 weeks before travel. Our standard 10% discount for multiple or repeat buyers will still stand.

You may find these foals in their own albums on Facebook and our website. Our most recent pictures are already on our website, Facebook and RWAs. We will provide additional videos of the stallion groups as a whole upon request.

Jacks Our Bartender has been declining, and we will soon be preg checking his mares that pastured with him this summer. Could be that these 2025s are his last offspring. His bloodline will remain in our program through his daughters and a 2024 stallion prospect we have retained.

Travel is available leaving Sept 25th from North Dakota headed south to Texas and can meet along Hwy 83. Travel is also available to Dillon MT in October.

This colt is FANTASTIC! Born 5-8-25. Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year we have chosen movie themes for our different stallions. Top Gun Whiskey foals will be named after the Top Gun Call Signs from the original 1986 movie. Next year we will do similar call signs from the 2022 movie. Our other stallions will have Lord Of The Rings and Hobbit themed names. This colt is named Isengard. Isengard is a fictional fortress (Big Gothic Tower) in The Lord of the Rings. It is also known as Angrenost or ‘Iron Fortress’ in Tolkien’s elvish language.

‘Isengard’ is a dark buckskin stallion with a star and snip. His dam Miss Two ID Peponita, aka Salty we raised out of our 92% NFQHA Mr Salty Peponita daughter, Peponita Roan Bar JW aka Strawberry. We also raised Strawberry out of one of our founding mares, Fancy Roan Belle. Salty has very deep maternal roots in our program including 2004 Docs Fancy Roan and her daughter, 2011 Paddys Gin Fanta JW; 2015 Whiskey Up Roan JW and her 2023 daughter, Larimar Bartender JW and 2024 stallion prospect, Condor Bartender JW; and main ranch gelding, 2018 Whiskey Up Poland JW.

Salty’s sire is Two ID Sweet Buck owned by Tien Quarter Horses. Tien Quarter Horses says, “Heff is a good looking stallion that stands 15 hands with a pretty head & neck. This stallion is gentle and good minded, making friends wherever he goes. "Heff" is an asset to our program with his color, mind and athletic ability, passing on to his colts. He has been fun to show, with points in the Versatility Ranch Horse events, Ranch Riding, Heeling and Performance Halter. Heff is an AQHA World Show Qualifier in Jr. Heeling, Ranch Riding and an AQHA Zoetis Versatility World Championship in 2016 & 2017. In 2022 Two ID Sweet Buck secured the AQHA VRH Cowboy Reserve World Champion.” Salty’s first foal 2023 Whiskey Up Pyrite JW, sold to our college roommate and good friend John. We are excited for his future!

Isengard’s sire is our newest and youngest stallion My Bluestem Drift JW. He is 91% NFQHA and eligible to register. He does carry a copy of the cream gene which he will pass on 50% of the time. He is the result of a very good experiment we tried, breeding his dam to his sire, Walter O Rielly aka Radar. Radar was a foundation stallion we had purchased several years ago to get some fillies to retain back for our program. Within the first few years, we discovered we really liked his foals for ourselves as saddle horses. He became a great addition to our program, and had 12 foal crops for us. He brought older foundation lines to cross back with our Paddy’s get. Radar threw BIG foals that could cover a lot ground with amazing laid back dispositions. Most of his offspring have gone on to be ranch horses, with a few rope and barrel prospects too. We then decided to breed one of our favorite ranch mares we used, My Kittys Belle JW, and cross with Radar in hopes of getting some foals we just knew we would want to keep and ride. My Kittys Belle JW’s mother, My Little Kitty, was owned by Barbra Kennedy Johnson and was given to Ella. Belle’s sire was our late 96% NFQHA stallion, JK Jay Reed, who was a consistent producer. We really liked Bluestem and always thought of him as a stallion prospect and replacement for his sire. We didn’t need him yet, so he was sent to training as a 2 year old, started under saddle, became quite well broke, did some ranching and was well into his roping training by spring of 2024 when his sire passed at the age of 24. It was time to bring him home to fulfill his place in our program. Bluestem is deeply rooted with JK Jay Reed, Walter O Rielly, My Kittys Belle and My Little Kitty. 2025 is Bluestem’s very first foal crop. As we do all our horses, we evaluate after a few foal crops.

Isengard should be a nice all-around prospect. His pedigree top and bottom is full of multiple generations of our program. JK Jay Reed, My Little Kitty and Fancy Roan Belle were the originals we started with many years ago. We raised both Isengard’s dam and sire from our program and it is really fun to see another generation created. We have high hopes for Isengard. We would expect him to be athletic enough to be able to perform in or out of the arena and will reach approximately 15-1 or 15-2.

2025 PRICING INCLUDES: Halter/lead rope, negative coggins, health, brand inspection, initial and booster vaccinations of EWT-Flu-Rhino, 1 bag of his current feed, AQHA transfer fee paid and halter training. This is a $300+ value included in the price. Repeat and multiple horse buyers will be less. If you are not already an AQHA member, you may get your own membership, or we will assess you an additional $65 one-year membership fee to do the $40 transfer for your new purchase.
