We are proud to offer Hqh Tiffies Bar aka “Lemon” a 15.1 hand 5 year old registered AQHA Palomino mare. She has a beautiful head, long thick mane and tail and excellent hooves that do not require shoes. Lemon has been my personal horse for the last 3 years, she has been through our entire training program and then some. In all that time I can honestly say she has never done one thing wrong. Lemon wakes up every morning ready to please her rider however she can. This mare has been everything to our family the last few years, a reliable ranch hand to my husbands cattle operation, I’ve watched him in a rush grab this mare out of her pen load her up by herself and go check fence or get loose cows in and she won’t make a peep. She will ride out completely alone and stand like a statue and doesn’t need a buddy whatsoever. He has thrown calves up in her back and carried them back to safety without thinking twice. She will cross any obstacles you put in front of her with steady, confident feet beneath her. As a 4 year old we took her out to the big horns, some of the most challenging trails out there, and she was PERFECT in every way.

In addition to being a reel ranch hand for my husband, Lemon can transform into the fanciest show ready ranch riding horse for my little sister to win on. She has ALL the buttons but is still easy to ride, she has a beautiful ground covering trot with a natural level headset and has the coolest transition to a little jog. She will spin, do flying lead changes, has a big stop, neck reins, and is started on the flag and cow work. Every time she has been shown she has been top 2 in her class. The judges love her and so will you!

Lastly Lemon has been a safe mount for myself to work with while I was pregnant and our toddler to be around. She is extremely respectful and mindful, would never dream of offering to buck, kick, or bite. And she stays broke with time off. She is truly a cinch up and lope off without an issue type of horse. You need not have any concerns about her being a mare, she is not marish or sassy in any way, in season or not. To say our family will miss having this mare around is a major understatement, but this is what we do, lemon has proven time and time again she is ready to go on and be someone’s number one and we know whoever gets this fantastic mare is going to be just as happy as we have been having her in our pasture.
