Description:
Starlights Remington, better know as Ruger, checks all of the boxes. He measures right between 15 & 15.1 hands and weighs 1300 lbs. He is the type of horse that gets noticed. He has all the strength and power to go to work and all of the buttons to go to town. He is a 2014 AQHA Gelding by Bobby Starlight (LTE $140,131.00) and out of money earning mare Handle It Playgun ($80,260.00). Ruger is capable of plusing every maneuver with huge stops and consistent lead changes. Going down the fence on Ruger never disappoints, he is a legitimate fence horse that will not be out ran. He is a three event horse with Open & Non Pro NRCHA Earnings, and requires no maintenance. He hauls well, and moves into a show with ease. He has been used in the branding pen, and we have started him on the hot heels. He rates well and has been progressing quickly. We have been taking our time introducing him to the box with a lot of scoring and tracking. Ruger trail rides, ponies colts, and crosses water. This is a big powerful horse with a lot of buttons, so I wouldn’t throw my Grandma on him. He is however the horse I learned to go down the fence on, so he would be good for a solid rider looking to step up.
