nyone can pose a horse with a fancy camera and make it look perfect and experienced. But look at Grangers videos on Facebook and see her actually doing her job on a regular real life basis, not just for sale day. She spent her first summer as a two year old in a pack string of colts and logged over 450 miles in the rough and rugged Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. She has been on the roughest steepest trails, crossed deep raging rivers, spent more time as a two year old walking mountain trails, tied to highlines, and hobbled in lush mountain meadows than most horses will experience through their entire lifetime. She has been around every animal from grizzlies roaming through camp at night, to passing under bighorn sheep clinging to the cliffs and rolling pebbles on her as we slipped under. She is very young and has an amazing calm disposition. Each fall she spends countless days on backcountry hunts. She is used to being ridden long before the sun comes up and riding back to camp hours after dark. She can be saddled after a freezing night of mountain snow or rain and ride right out in 2’ deep snow the next morning when its still pitch dark outside. She has packed meat, horns and gear. Last summer we packed extended family on several trips into the wilderness, as a three year old Granger was trusted to take kids that had only been on horses a handful of times into extremely remote wild and rough country. She truly is a gem of a horse. She is already very well seasoned and still has her whole life ahead of her. She has been used on the ranch ever since she was started under saddle as a long two year old. She has spent hundreds of miles riding ranges gathering and driving cows. She is used in the branding pen, ropes outside, ropes the dummy, lopes circles, has a great side pass, and has a nice responsive feel to her. We purchased Granger as a coming two year old from a very large cattle ranch. The ranch breeds and raises horses for their own outfit and therefore do not register their horses. Due to co-working with them for many years we are fortunate to pick up one of their great colts from time to time. Their breeding program is heavy with Two Eyed Jack and Poco Bueno, but please note SHE IS NOT REGISTERED. Due to her breeding background cow work comes very natural to her. This is a horse that acts like a 10 year old but is only 4. As of November

2024 She stands 14.2 hands. She has tons of mountain trails, and ranch experience. She is calm enough for kids but willing enough for working adults.
