Description:
We are looking to add to our crew with a full time ranch hand. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in most aspects of ranch work:



-Operating and maintaining ranch and farm equipment

-Basic cattle handling

-Irrigation experience would be highly desirable

-Equipment repair experience would be highly desirable



Responsibilities for this position would potentially include:



-Operate, maintain and repair farm and ranch machinery

-Handling and care of cattle and livestock

-Assist in daily farm operations including haying, feeding, and maintaining fencing

-Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and record-keeping



Other important traits include:



-Someone who is strongly self-motivated and a quick learner

-Attention to detail and a good teammate

-Forward thinking and ability to adapt to use of technology



Please note this job involves working outside in all kinds of year round weather, lifting heavy objects and can be physically demanding. We need a hard worker that is looking for a rewarding and fulfilling job on a beautiful and historic ranch.
