NorCal Riding Stables LLC is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and professional riding instructor and trainer to join our team. This role requires more than just horsemanship — we’re looking for someone who is outstanding with customer service, genuinely enjoys working with children and adults, and has the ability to tailor lessons to all skill levels, from absolute beginners to more advanced riders. What We’re Looking For: • Minimum 15 plus years experience in riding and horse handling • Proficient in both Western and English disciplines • Solid background in horse training, groundwork, and desensitization • Exceptional customer service mindset — friendly, patient, professional • Experience working with young children, teens, adults, and seniors • Skilled in creating fun, safe, confidence-building lessons for all levels • Positive attitude, team player, and great communication skills • Clean background and excellent references Responsibilities: • Teach private and group lessons (Western & English) to riders of all ages and abilities • Create welcoming, engaging, and informative experiences for first-time riders • Challenge intermediate and advanced students to grow in their skills and confidence • Provide horse training services — groundwork, riding tune-ups, behavior work • Assist with birthday parties, and special events as needed What We Offer: • Friendly, supportive, family-focused work environment • Use of well-maintained facilities: indoor arena, round pen, trails, and more • Safe, seasoned horses for lessons and trail rides • Competitive pay, flexible scheduling for the right person How to Apply: Please email your resume, references, and a brief cover letter to amryan1973@gmail.com or call/text (530) 515‑8958.
