Description:
Captain is a gentle, beautiful, dark, bay gelding and has that gorgeous, shapely quarter horse look! He is a great size for adults and youth, and stands 14.3 hands. He is an in-your-pocket type of horse that loves to be loved on, very personable, and is easy to catch, shoe, bathe, and clip! He has no spook, buck, bite, or kick. He has been around traffic, dogs, chickens, kids, cats, side-by-sides, and anything in-between. Nothing bothers him! We have used Captain in parades, 4H, ranch work, and trail riding. Before he came to our home he was used in high school rodeo team roping. He has that highly sought-after beautiful slow trot, and smooth slow lope. He is not a dead-head, but prefers to take life slow! Captain does have an arthritic knee, and requires maintenance for heavy riding.
