Roman is a tall drink of water with a personality that will make you laugh every time you pull him out to ride. He will get you noticed everywhere you take him! Roman is as bomb proof as they come, and has a level of chill that everyone loves. He is a package deal that you won’t find very often! Roman is an EVERYTHING horse! Team roping, english riding, trail riding, performing tricks, and more!

Roman will happily set a nice pace at the front of the group on a trail, or easily slow down for the pokey horses at the back of the group. He crosses water and logs easily without any fuss. He will ride easily in a snaffle and an english saddle, or ride in a correction bit and tie-down for roping. He has been started slow and correct on the head side, learning on the dummy and slow steers, and is ready to finish out your way. He should be ready to jackpot on in a few short months with the right person. He is a push-style roper, but easily grabs the gear you want. He is quiet in the box, and will wait all day for you to ask him to come out of the box. He sides up to a mounting block for you to get on, and bridles easily. He can also do a few tricks, like put all four feet on a pedestal, and sit in a bean bag. He is willing and happy to try anything you ask of him.

He has had his teeth done, is vaccinated with a 5-way plus West Nile vaccine, and has had Quest Plus dewormer this spring. He has been shod every 8 weeks, with his shoes being pulled in the winter, and a full set was put back on this spring. He does well in a group pasture setting or in a stall or paddock. He is fine being at the bottom of the pecking order in the pasture and is very non-combative. He has a goofball personality and loves physical affection.

An ideal home for Roman would be a family who wants a horse the whole family can ride. Put the kids or a beginner on him on the trail, take him to jackpot ropings, rodeo with him, dabble in some english riding, take him branding, use him for a pack/hunting trip, teach him tricks, and more. Roman absolutely loves kids, although I wouldn’t put a kid on him for speed events quite yet, due to his young age.
