Description:
We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Ranch Hand with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in cow-calf operations. This is a great opportunity for a hardworking, reliable individual who takes pride in livestock care and ranch work. Join our team on a large, well-established ranch in the heart of southwestern Colorado, where your expertise and strong work ethic will be valued and put to good use.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily feeding and general livestock care

• Calving and doctoring cattle

• Working cattle: gathering, sorting, vaccinating, and treating

• Operating and maintaining ranch machinery

• Haying and irrigation

• Fencing and general ranch maintenance

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience on a cow-calf operation

• Skilled in identifying and treating sick animals

• Capable of riding horseback and roping

• Valid driver’s license

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in haying, fencing, and irrigation

• Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, dozers, backhoes, haying equipment)

We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and committed to quality animal care and land stewardship. Housing may be available for the right candidate.
