Description:
Roany is a big, good looking, buckskin roan that I have had since he was a baby. He’s got good withers, solid bone, with hard black feet, & good muscle with a big hip thats still comfortable to ride on long days. He is steady in steep, rocky terrain, crossing water etc. Roany has completed all aspects of ranch work from gathering in the wide open desert to the forest. Sorted & doctored and of course LOTS of branding. Roany is very alert & aware of his surroundings & requires an experienced rider. He can be “fresh” when laid off in the winter and want to pullback/shy away. This is a good solid ranch horse that someone could easily take into the arena as I have chased the heelomatic on him, he’s been to town to a few jackpot muley & horse ropings but he is NOT seasoned ie still looks sideways at flags banners etc. This is a big athletic horse that a handy woman would absolutely love.
