Description:
"Crater" is a fancy broke, good-looking, gentle ranch gelding. He is very experienced on the ranch. My 15 yr old son has used him to doctor, brand, sort, and push cattle. He stays quiet and rides out alone. He has fantastic ground manners and is easy to have around. He was started by a cow horse trainer and has a really nice handle on him. He’s not lazy but is a very laid back horse- never gets hot or on the muscle. My son has also started heeling on him in the arena and he is doing really well. Stays quiet in the box and has a lot of cow in him. "Crater" is completely sound and has clean legs. He has a lot of bone and hoof and is built to last. My son is wanting to buy a finished tie down horse to compete on in High School Rodeo. That is the only reason "Crater" is for sale. This is a really solid gelding that we have zero negative things to say about. We are located 35 miles west of Boise, ID. We can help arrange transport if necessary. Vet checks welcome.
