2020 AQHA sorrel gelding

Jasper is a beautiful 14.3 hand 5 year old gelding. I have owned him for the past year and half and he has always been gentle and willing. I have used him on the ranch to gather and sort cattle. He’s extremely sure footed outside, crosses water, logs and whatever else you point him at. Jasper is cowy and good to sort on, I have used him at a few ranch sortings and have won over 1200 on him. He has limited roping experience but I have been roping some steers on him in the arena and he handles it like a champ. He’s not been started out of the box but I think he could make a real nice heel or breakaway prospect. I took Jasper to one ranch horse show this spring and he did well, Placing 2nd in Ranch Rail, 2nd in Reining and 3rd in Trail. I think he would really excel in the VRH. Jasper is a beautiful mover, he picks up his leads, rollbacks, good stop, backs up freely, side passes, has good speed control, and slow correct spins. You can lay him off for two months, saddle up and ride off with no hump or buck. He is kind, smart and a gentleman to be around. His papers say Sorrel, I guarantee these are his papers, I sent the DNA off to get it changed and all is good but AQHA sent them back to me without doing the change. He had a PPE done 6/3, he is sound and healthy with no concerns. Straight legs and good feet. I can send the full report to interested parties. Come try him out in Buffalo WY. Free board for up to 2 weeks. $20 per day after that. Shipping expenses are on buyer but I can help arrange a reputable hauler. 406-671-1884
