Grade 2018 Grey Gelding

Smokey is an absolute sweetheart on the ground and on his back. He’s the best in the world to catch, excellent with all things you need to do; catch, tie, load, shoe etc. Smokey is gentle for all levels and ages. He stays level headed with everything that’s thrown at him. He has beautiful transitions, a smooth trot and a rocking chair lope. He has a good ground covering walk if that’s what you’re looking for, but he can also creep around for the little ones. Smokey has seen a ton of outside miles and you can tell that by his demeanor, that is his happy place!! Walking down a trail is his favorite thing to do. He will cross downfall, logs, bridges, and loves some water crossings! Smokey has a one hand neck rein, will side pass to open and shut gates. Smokey has been used to pony young colts. You can swing up and ride him bareback anytime! Multiple kids have learned to ride on the back of this horse! He’s been pastured with a herd of pigs and not at all worried about them walking through his legs. Smokey has a soft mouth, nice head carriage, and flexes well. Smokey has been at the same place for the last three years. He has no blemishes, injuries, never needed a vet for any reason. He is current on wormer and vaccinations. $10 is applied after the sale.
