He is a stunning grulla color with the thick dorsal stripe down his back, heavy tiger stripes on his legs, and perfect tipped ears. Pumbaa is not only appealing to look at, but an absolute gem to be around. He has such a loving and sweet disposition, loves to be around people. He is a saint to take down the trails staying surefooted and confident on any type of ground. Pumbaa has done a couple local ranch versatility classes and placed well. He is so much fun to ride and take across the obstacles. He goes through belly deep water or shallow creeks with no hesitation. Pumbaa has been used outside to push and sort cattle, roped some calves off of him as well! He takes everything you throw at him with such cadence. We have started tracking and roping the sled off of him, which he is coming along great. Pumbaa has taken care of almost every level of riders from green to very experienced. Pumbaa could easily fit anyone’s family as he is very versatile and easy to ride. If you are looking for your next lifetime partner, Pumbaa fits the bill! He passed a pre purchase exam and has current X-rays on file.
