Hello Ranch community

My wife and I are looking for a our perfect fit/next adventure, starting in November. We’d like to stay in the western part of Montana, willing to consider other places for the right opportunity. Willing to consider full time ranch work or manager position for the right opportunity.



I start colts and train Horses , I use buckaroo/natural horsemanship methods. Our first choice would be to find a ranch place we could rent for a few years, as part of rent I’d be willing to ride the fences and keep them in tip top shape! Or other ranch work.

I have experience in all types of ranch work, I’ve got experience in calving heifers and cows. Both barn and pasture calving,

doctoring cattle, etc.



My wife has her own business making mohair cinches and tack.



We would need a place we could have a round pen and a big garden as well. The smaller the house the better.

We come with 1 horse and 3 dogs Two of them are working dogs.



I had a full time job since the summer I turned 13yrs old, I have several years experience in building houses, logging, sawmill, welding shop, farming and ranching. I’ve worked on a ranch in South Dakota at Edgar Brothers, eastern Montana on a cow-calf operation and currently range riding in eastern Idaho at a cow camp. This is the 2nd year at this cow camp, I monitor 1100+ hd of cattle, doctoring, moving from pasture to pasture, fixing fence, putting salt out, etc and dealing with predator problems mostly Grizzlies and some wolves.



Cow camp is an hour from the closest town and has no internet or phone service so that’s not a necessity.
