Description:
If you are looking for an enjoyable, sound and well broke mount that the whole family can ride, this is your next horse. He has been with us for over 3 years and done a little bit of everything. This horse is gentle as a kitten and if you can sit up and hold the reins, you can ride him. He has been extensively team roped on, both heading and heeling at PRCA rodeos down to High School rodeos, ridden in the mountains, packed a flag, made queen wave runs, and given many riding and roping lessons. He is naturally a quiet, push style horse, but he does have the gas in the tank when you ask for it. Boomer is handsome and friendly, he is the first to the gate to catch YOU and always has a happy nicker when he sees people. He has been hauled all over the western states for rodeos and is a great traveler. You can shoot off him, work calves in the branding pen, or pony rambunctious youngsters. He is well broke, soft in the face, has a flying lead change, lopes pretty circles and has a nice stop. He gets along well turned out with other horses and appreciates his stall and blankets in the winter. Good for the farrier, bathes, worming, vaccines, etc. Boomer has just completed a clean comprehensive exam with X-rays from Western Performance Equine in May 2025 and is sound and healthy. Up to date on all dentals and vaxx and currently does not require any maintenance procedures.

He is registered with AQHA but the previous owner lost his papers and transfer. With a little work they should be able to be tracked down, which is reflected in his price.

This is a fantastic little horse and I will be picky where he goes, with considerations to the right home. I have lots of videos, from him roping on the grass at Pendleton to the mud at Oakdale, and everything on down and in between with low numbered ropers, little kids and rodeo queens.
