Description:
Looking for a young Christian family man that is a self starter and motivated, must be capable of running a remote Nevada ranch mostly by himself with some occasional help. The ranch runs around 1,000 head of cattle on several hundred thousand acres of BLM ground for 9 months of the year, and then cattle are gathered and brought into Meadows.



This job will include all aspects of RANCH work, but most of your time will be spent taking care of cattle. Irrigating Meadows and overseeing some pivot ground, with occasionally helping with some of the farming will also be required .

• Must be a proficient Horseman and shoe your own horses and ranch horses

• Must be able to read cattle and drive and work them mostly on your own

• Must be a proficient roper and be able to catch and doctor cattle out on the range

• Have basic mechanic skills

•Have some farming knowledge and/ or be willing to learn and help with the farming if needed

•Be willing to travel to some of my other ranches to help out from time to time

•Be willing to live 80 miles from town, the ranch has a new double wide for housing.
