Description:
“Sam” is a 2022 registered AQHA Appendix gelding. He’s one you won’t miss in the pasture. Started in our program, Sam has taken on everything we’ve asked and more. He rides in an O-ring snaffle with a running martingale, crosses our wooden bridge with ease, handles water without hesitation, and never flinches at our ranch dogs.



This spring, he helped pair out cows and didn’t spook at elk or deer moving through the herd. We aim to expose our horses to as much as possible early on, and Sam has seen a lot. With more time and miles, he’ll only get better. This summer, we’ll start him on the roping sled, and with his size, he’s shaping up to be a solid head horse prospect. Whether you’re looking to continue his training or let us take him further, Sam is ready to go to work.
