Description:
Custom made roping saddle in 2001 for Jay McLaughlin. B 01-687-M. I also used it for working cowhorse and reining competitions. It has several desirable features. Built on a Buster Welsh tree with the breach 8" tall and 6.5’ wide. The seat began at 16.5" but is double padded and effectively 16". The horn is 3.5" tall. The shirt is 32" wide, the stirrup fenders, 18.5" long...1" longer than normal. Fully stamped-basket weave and plume. It is in excellent condition without scratches or cuts in the leather. Comes with Walls stirrups..engraved aluminum. The seat is very comfortable. Today’s cost...$6,500-$7000 per Bob’s Saddles. Weight approx 38lbs.
