Honest and dependable! If there were just two words to describe Branch, then that would be it. When we need a horse, we can count on, he’s the one we catch. Branch saddles up quiet whether you ride him every day or once a month. His no-nonsense attitude makes him a pleasure to have around. Excellent to shoe, bathe, load and tie. He rides off by himself willingly and minds his manners when he’s riding in a group. Used extensively on the ranch and in the mountains. Branch spends his summers on the Big Horn Mountains in rough and rocky terrain. We summer up to 10,000 ft. and he is my main horse caring for cattle on 90,000 acres. There is not much that this guy hasn’t done or seen. He’s also started in the arena as a heel horse! This horse can do it all. Sorting cattle, doctoring yearlings, branding calves, strolling through town, or trail riding with your toddler on your lap. You will be safe doing it all on Branch’s back. He rides through water crossings, over down timber, across bridges and steep terrain with ease and confidence. He’s so much fun to have around, no matter what the day may bring, Branch is a trusty partner! A rocking horse lope and a steady smooth trot makes for a comfortable ride all day long. He is happy to go as slow or as fast as his rider is ready for. Branch is in the prime years of his life right now. He has the ability and disposition to be a competitive rope horse, or he’d be just as happy to spend his days on the trail or punching cows.
