Description:
We are a family operated performance horse facility located in South Central Montana. We are looking to add a full time person to our staff.



Our operation is a team effort so not all duties are left to one person. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

-Feeding/Watering all animals on property

-Cleaning stalls

-Doctoring livestock as needed

-Catching, Saddling, Loping, Washing and Blanketing Horses

-Operating ranch equipment (skid-steer, tractor, trucks and trailers)

-General ranch maintenance (moving hay, building fence etc.)

-Assisting with Vet and Farrier Appointments



Job requirements:

-Must be 18+ years and have a valid drivers license

-Must be able to pass a background check

-Must have some experience with horses

-Must be available 6 days a week with flexible days off. Rotating with other employees so that there is full time coverage for feeding and horse care.

-This is a highly active position - must be physically capable to be on your feet, ride horses, stack hay (lifting at least 50lbs) etc.

-Good at communicating

-A proactive teammate



The ideal candidate will:

-Have experience starting and putting first rides on colts

-Be a confident rider on all levels of horses

-Halter breaking weanlings

-Round Pen work with weanlings and yearlings

-Progressing young horses in their training programs

-Keeping Show Horses legged up



• Pay DOE - competitive wages – this a W2 position

• On-site housing available or RV hookups
