Description:
For those of you looking for a full size ranch gelding but need one low to the ground and easy to get on and off, then check out Cinder. He is the coolest horse, standing 13.1hh but stout enough to carry a man and with a heart as big as Texas. He cabn keep up with the big horses and will go all day long without issue. Cinder is 8 years old and has been ridden by all levels of riders. He has been on one ranch in deep South Texas his entire life, and is safe, honest and gentle. He has been used for all phases of ranch work, including dragging calves, doctoring cattle out in the pasture, and sorting pairs. Cinder has an excellent one handed neck rein, a light mouth and good stop, he is good on both leads, and he has the smoothest trot you could sit to all day long without getting sore. He rides just as good bareback with a halter as he does with a saddle and bridle, and doesn’t mind carrying a flag. Cinder is gentle and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick, or take off, and has excellent ground manners as well. He belonged to the 74 year old man who owned the ranch and was ridden quite a bit by his 8 year old granddaughter, as well as anyone else who came to the ranch and needed a safe horse to ride. Cinder rides excellent out in the pasture, crosses water with no problems, and isn’t spooky. He will go up, over or through anything you point him at. He has excellent ground manners, stands quietly tied, and gets along great in a herd. Cinder will ride out alone as well as with a group, will happily lead or follow, and has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $6500.
