Description:
Looking for a long-term ranch position in SouthWest Montana, ideally within 1-2 hours of Bozeman or Ennis where my family lives. I am currently working a sesonal job in Boulder Montana



I did not grow up around ranching, but it is my aspiration to manage or have a ranch one day. I have been working cattle for about 5 years, moving from seasonal job to seasonal job. I do not want to continue moving around and want to find a long-term position where I can grow with the company and develop my skills.



I enjoy all aspects of ranch work and life and do not consider myself a cowboy by any means, but I am looking for a ranch that does most of its cattle work with horses. My resume will have more details but I have done almost any job on a ranch including but not limited to, fencing, riding, doctoring, branding, working cows in corrals, basic mechanical work on trucks/tractors/equipment, irrigation in every form, calving, raking and baling hay, stacking hay, building repair and upkeep, clearing trail and logging, and other small jobs done on cattle ranches



I have a very can-do attitude toward life and take great pride in my work. I am very good at communicating and almost all my past co-workers would say I am very easy to get along with and a pleasure to work with. I do not have a drinking or substance problem and have never done a no show at any job I’ve ever had. No DUI’s or criminal reccord.



I have a passion for direct-to-consumer beef business models and would be very interested in playing a part in helping or starting a DTC business. One of the main reasons I am looking to stay near Bozeman is I have 21 familys I have already sold beef too, usually a Full beef of 700lb. And about 20 other familys who are always asking me to buy beef.



Two things I have not done that I am looking to learn is welding and to drive a semi.
