Rooster is athletic, kind and good minded. He stands 15.1h with a sleek look and a solid build. By a son of the great Gallo Del Ciello, with Hollywood Dun It, Dual Pep and Freckles Playboy all on his papers you’ll run the wheels off your truck trying to find one as royally bred and trained as this one! He has athleticism to spare and the papers to prove it. Rooster is soft mouthed, light to leg aids, great work disposition, attentive to his rider and wants to please! He’s as athletic and quick footed as they come, with a kind and easy going personality that will suit a wide variety of riders. This horse has a motor that doesn’t quit, he will go all day and get the job done. But don’t let that fool you, Rooster is not hot minded, he’s just a working machine that loves to please. He can go from being asked to go fast and work hard to walking with his head low on a loose rein. He’s a beautiful stopper and spins nicely in both directions. He side passes, counter bends, half passes and moves all parts of his body smooth and beautifully. Rooster opens gates with ease, crosses bridges, water and all trail obstacles confidently. He will go wherever you point him with zero hesitation. He loves pushing cows and will truly handle any task you put in front of him. He ropes the dummy and has been well started on the head side. Lots of speed, good rate and loves the job. He has been hauled to barrel races to see the sights and do time onlies. His pattern work has been slow and correct, this horse has never been rushed and will handle all tasks cool, calm and collected. He neck reins, does large and small circles both ways one handed, and can speed control one handed from a large fast circle to a small and slow. He’s a pleasure to ride down the trail, not spooky, sure footed. You can give him a loose rein and enjoy your ride. Rooster has excellent ground manners, stands quietly and hauls like a dream. Easy to catch, saddle and shoe. He also enjoys his baths and attention. Rooster is a phenomenal horse looking to take you in any direction. Sound sane and blemish free, he is always one of the prettiest horses everywhere you take him.
