Description:
Johnny Ringo is a strong, imposing athlete that makes ranch work a pleasure. Deep cinching with a great wither and good bone and foot. The epitome of Northern Cowhorse. Fancy broke gelding that travels easy and smooth. He has a ton of cow, plenty of run and a lot of stop. He is gentle with the heart to go all day in rough country. He’s an outstanding sorting horse whether in the alley, corral, wide open country, or the arena. We’ve owned him since a weanling. I trained and used both his sire and dam, which were both exceptional horses themselves. A first string mount. He lives up to his pedigree which is filled with legends and hall of famers. Johnny Ringo has been one of my favorite using horses and will be missed. A gelding we are very proud to offer. He has been used all over from the North Country to Texas and Arizona. He’s started on the head side, been used as a turnback horse in the cutting pen, as well as having done all the ranch chores.
