Description:
Bet Hes Boonlight or as we call him Granite, is a Montana born and bred cow horse. This five-year-old red roan gelding was raised by Fink Quarter Horses out of Hysham, MT. I purchased Granite as a weaned colt and have had him every day of his life since then. This gelding is as gentle and kind as you can make one. My wife, grandpa, little kid, or myself can get on this outstanding gelding and enjoy him. He has seen thousands of cattle in a sort gate and on the other end of a rope. Granite has spent countless days and nights in a calving barn putting up with everything that has to offer. He is one of my absolute favorite horses to catch to go get a job done. It doesn’t matter if Granite has had six months off or six hours off he is the same horse every time. I can trust him with any rider and he has the talent for the handiest rider as well. This gelding has seen many many miles in the hills packing meat, to anything that a hunting camp requires. This kind eyed gelding is the first to meet you at the gate or in the middle of the pasture every time that you see him. He is good to catch, bridle, shoe, load and clip. I have started Granite heading and heeling steers in the arena, and he definitely has the talent to keep going in that realm. Granite stands 14.3 and weighs 1200 pounds. Take this gelding and make a family horse out of him or a switch end rope horse. No matter the task, I have complete faith that he will excel. Give me a call or come try him at the ranch.
