Our team operates with shared values of safety, integrity, commitment, good stockmanship, being a good neighbor, and environmental stewardship. We are seeking a full time cook for guest and crew meals for the upcoming 2025/26 winter season. Position Summary The cook is responsible for efficiently and cleanly prepping meals, snacks, and all food items deemed necessary by the chef/manager. Food safety, cleanliness, and organization are of utmost importance and will be a major part of the position. This position works directly with the chef/manager. This position must be comfortable with being with and around guests. This position will work indoors in standard kitchens as well as in historic cabins around the property where the amenities are rustic yet sufficient. Some snowmobiling may be required to reach the historic cabins, however, no major experience in snowmobiling is required and we are willing to train. Qualifications & Skills Some food prep experience is required, but can be a beginner’s skill set/knowledge. On-the-job training will be given. This position must be organized and willing to work closely with others and fulfill duties that may not be listed here. Must be able to follow instructions and complete tasks assigned. Notes: Housing is provided free of charge as well as paper goods and cleaning supplies, bed linens, pillows and necessary furniture. Housing is a private room in a newly built bunkhouse with a kitchen and common area and bathrooms shared by all occupants. There is also free beef provided through the Little Jennie Ranch employee beef program. Some meals and foods provided as well. Salary is negotiable based on experience and ability to take on more responsibility. There is end-of-season bonus, amount is based on performance and completion of season.
