From a World Series start to a big long move, cattle are easy to gather up on this quick moving, beautiful blue roan. Standing 15 hands and weighing 1200lbs he is a great combination of size and agility. Color is great.. but a gentle demeanor goes a long way. This horse has both! The majority of Merles outside riding has been done by our 8 year old daughter. Whether we were doctoring calves or gathering and trailing cattle if it was his turn our daughter Elsie was on his back. That says a lot about the inside of a horse. The willingness and patience he showed outside with her riding him was second to none. The same goes for his attitude inside the arena. He always looks to please and help you win. Merle has great speed and phenomenon rate, two of the best attributes when looking for a head horse.
