Description:
This is Quincy. He is our 10-year-old bay gelding. Quincy is very gentle and kind. He also has a very sweet temperament. Anyone can ride this horse, but he does have a lot of go so he could be too much horse for a beginner. This horse is a great size for anyone as well, coming in at 15 hands and 1100 pounds. Quincy is easy to catch, saddle and load in a trailer. He is not bothered by dogs or other animals. If you have some long days and a lot of ground to cover, he will go at a long-trot for several days. His walk is a nice fast pace. Furthermore, he is good to shoe. Quincy runs in common with geldings and mares and is not aggressive in the cavvy. We have used Quincy in the mountains and on the dessert. He is very tough and sure footed. As you can see in the videos, he is not bothered by much. Down timber, bridges, or steep rough country, he has seen it all! He is used regularly in all aspects of ranch work.
