They say the West was won riding a bay horse with four black feet packing a 1 shoe on every corner. We are very proud to introduce you to “Sweet Tea”, exactly that. Big, beautiful, bay gelding I’d pick to ride into new country. He stands 15.1 hands tall and weighs in at 1,275 pounds and can move like a small horse but do the job of a big horse. Sweet Tea is fancy, fancy broke to ride and very gentle for any level rider. He has drug his share of 6,000 calves to the fire the last couple years and doctored every size of bovine that needed assistance. It’s always a fight amongst my family to be the one to get to ride him that day. He’s been down every cow and deer trail a 70,000-acre ranch has to offer. He’ll politely cross irrigation ditches and big mountain streams. He stands quiet to get on and off of as well as meet you at the gate to be caught in the morning. Sweet Tea is a stand out proven head and heel horse in the arena. He is the best switch ender I have ever ridden. My wife, Hannah, has won thousands on him at the World Series jackpots and I have won a fair share on him heeling. He scores perfect and is an absolute gentleman in the box every single time. It is very impressive how he will speed up or slow down for any level roper or rider. Sweet Tea lopes a perfect reining pattern with just a string around his neck. This fall we even had some fun doing some mounted shooting off of him. This gelding is safe and trustworthy every day. We will be so sad to see him go, he is absolutely one of the nicest horses we have ever had.
