14.5" Colorado Saddlery - The outfitter Saddle

This saddle features a finished 14.5" padded leather seat, 4" cantle, post horn with leather dally wrap, rope strap, stainless rigging, pre-twisted stirrups, breast collar dee rings, 4 long leather ties, 6 1/2" gullet, QH bars, rawhide wrapped wood tree, fleece is good, and weight is around 37lbs.

Packers and outfitters spend a lot of time in the saddle and this is the one they have asked us to build. A deep dish padded seat for those long days in the saddle, a 4" cantle for good back support, a #4 dally horn, big enough to do the job and small enough not to get in the way. Has both crupper and breeching dees built in. A fine saddle for both horses and mules.

This is a great saddle for whatever task the day brings. Branding or doctoring cattle, long days hunting or trailing them last few cows on the mountain, or them all week-long pack trips.
