Description:
This position involves a wide range of ranch operations with emphasis on installing and maintaining temporary electric fencing across varied terrain. Key responsibilities include ensuring livestock have consistent access to salt and minerals, operating heavy machinery, maintaining and building various types of fencing, managing water systems, controlling noxious weeds through both chemical-free methods and targeted grazing, and general property upkeep. The role also includes using smartphones and digital tools for tracking, participating in planning meetings, and contributing to regenerative grazing practices.



Additional tasks may include livestock handling and health care, building maintenance, small engine and tool upkeep, and learning irrigation systems. The ideal candidate is adaptable, willing to learn new skills like welding and irrigation, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Occasional support for marketing and guest events may also be required, reflecting the ranch’s integrated approach to agriculture, community, and business operations.
