16" Brad McClellan - McCall Saddlery - Slick fork Ranch saddle

This saddle features a 16" hard seat, 5" rawhide bound cantle, post horn with mule hide wrap, 8 long strings, 7/8 drop rigging, pre-twisted stirrups, breast collar dee rings, 6 3/4" gullet, QH bars, rawhide wrapped wood tree, fleece looks new, and weight is around 40lbs.

Brad McClellan opened McCall Saddle Company in 1989. Brad developed an early interest in leather working in high school. He worked for his stepfather at Utahn Saddle Company in Vernal. Then he opened his own one-man shop in 1973. Jerry Stewart apprenticed with Brad for several years in the 1980s before setting out on his own to develop the famous Sawtooth saddle company.

This particular saddle I’m not sure was ever really used and was a prize piece that seems to have sat in a leaving room to show off. For anyone that knows what this is you’ll want to jump quick on it. An amazing saddle!!!!
