I’m very excited and proud to offer this mare. She is out of my bridle horse, QH mare, ‘Poncho’ who is an absolute powerhouse of a horse. By Cardinal Ranch’s pure bred Lusitano stallion ‘Nordico DC’. Nordico is known for his exceptional temperament and athletic ability. I’ve never offered a horse that I’ve personally raised before, so Glory is quite special to me! I know her inside and out; her flaws and her strengths. She was an easy start as a 2yo, then turned back out to grow up. I started riding her lightly but consistently when she turned 3. I have gotten to do so much off of her in this last year from, ranching, roping, working equitation, flying changes, and even some jumping! As soon as she figures out what you want, she does it with grit and passion. I have started using her as my go to horse for starting colts, as she is a calming presence to the babies. She is started on spins and stops, and has a floaty lope. She’ll even happily pick you up at the mounting block. Glory is a low maintenance traveler and adjusts well to new environments. I have taken her from Canada to Nevada and then Arizona! Gets along really well with other horses, and isn’t super “mare-ish”, and doesn’t have strong heat cycles. As a horse seller, I like to be involved in your introduction to a new horse and am willing to provide lessons and extra training when needed.
