Shooter is like riding a sports car, but his personality is that of a big gentle puppy dog. Friendly in your pocket personality, kind, willing and honest are the first things that come to mind. He is 4 years old and stands 15.1 hands. Shooter is a trained and shown Reiner with LTE of $1100 with limited showing. He is a solid 70-72 in the pen. GBED N/N, HERDA N/N, HYPP N/N, MH N/N, PSSM 1 N/N. His sire is COLONELS SHINING GUN (AQHA/APHA), $112,239 His dam is CHIC IN THE BAR, $13,793 and 52 AQHA points. Shooter is extremely well trained and easy to navigate. He has smooth lead departures, circles big and has great speed transitions. He is a solid and easy lead changer and has a big run down and stop. He will plus his turns and his stops easily. This is a big stand-up gelding that can finish his career in the reining pen, go to the roping pen or be a standout in the SHOT shows or versatility shows. We have transitioned him to riding down the trails where he will cross water, bridges, downfall and go up and down hills. Shooter is comfortable with riding out alone or in a group. He has been around cattle, and we have started roping the lead steer in the arena. Shooter is one that everyone enjoys riding.
