Let me introduce you to RT METALLIC PRIME and affectionately known around the barn as “Vegas”. He is a 2016 AQHA Red Roan gelding. He himself has earned $1,771.25 in the NCHA!! He is a trained, shown and a money winning cutting horse that is extra fancy, gentle, broke and a solid and seasoned ranch gelding. Vegas is very gentle for the whole family to ride and to top it off he’s also trained to lay down! Vegas stands 14.3 hands tall and weighing in at 1300 lbs. He is sired by the greatest cutting sire of all time the one and only METALLIC CAT. Metallic Cat earning $637K NCHA himself and has produced offspring that have earned more than $67 million dollars and counting. His dam being an own daughter of CJ SUGAR LENA earner of $180K NCHA. Vegas has an exceptional pedigree and an amazing disposition. Vegas has been used for all aspects of ranch work. He has doctored wheat pasture cattle, drug calves to the fire at branding time, worked the gate to sort pairs, gathered cattle off of pasture and loaded the trucks at shipping time. Vegas has always been the go to gelding for any job on any day. He has a presence about him and everyone walking through the barn has to stop and visit him. He always gets complimented wherever we take him. Vegas travels extremely smooth in all of his gaits and knows exactly where to put his feet in the roughest situations.
