Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting a variety of Farm operations to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of daily activities. As a Farm Hand, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our Farm and Boarding facility.

We are a full-service boarding stable and a fully operational farm, Our farm is home to over 30 horses, 40 goats, 15+ cows in the winter, and a small flock of chickens.

This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of at least 50 hours per week, with additional hours during the busy summer months as needed.



Main Responsibilities

Clean and maintain 4 horse stalls and 6-8 pens daily.

Feed animals (horses, cows, goats, chickens) in the morning and/or evening as required.

Clean and refill water tanks.

Move horses to and from turnout.

Flood Irrigation

Haying



As Needed Responsibilities

Operate and maintain farm machinery and heavy equipment.

Use power tools and hand tools

Weekly cleaning of farm equipment



Experience and Qualifications

Valid Drivers License

Previous experience in farming or working with horses is required.

Familiarity with operating heavy equipment is beneficial, but willingness to learn is essential.

Knowledge of farm machinery maintenance and repair is a plus.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting of 75lbs+

Extended periods of walking or standing.

Proven experience in animal handling is a must.
