Description:
Have you ever said, “it sure would be handy to have a well-trained horse?” Well, here he is! Busy Limits AKA Handy is a 2018 buckskin gelding; from the arena, ranch to town, he’s the handiest around! With a big stop, pretty spin, flying lead changes and the biggest heart he is sure to show off in the arena. The very first show I ever took Handy to he competed like he has been doing it his whole life. Handy doesn’t just shine in the arena, he is great on the ranch too! I tend to take horses through rougher country than most would ever dream of and Handy has taken me through it all without skipping a beat. Handy has helped me gather cattle all over the Pryor & Bighorn Mountains and desert. He has helped during calving season and drug calves to the fire at brandings. Do you need to pony a horse, or two, or three? Handy is your man! What about snubbing a colt? Handy has not only done it, he is good at it too! From the very first time I snubbed a colt off of him and every time since, he has shown his dependability and calmness through whatever they throw at him. One of my favorite things to do is wrangle horses in from pasture on him. He is by far the best wrangle horse I have ever had! Swinging gates or grabbing a wire gate, Handy will open and close with ease. From a small stream, irrigation ditches to the Bighorn River, Handy will take you through it without complaint. He’ll pick you up from anywhere; a rock, mounting block or a fence. If you’re out on a ride and have nothing nearby he will even lay down and pick you up from the ground too! When my dog Gator gets tired after a long day, Handy doesn’t mind letting him hitch a ride home. After a hard week on the ranch, a trip to town is just what you need. This winter Handy and I got to watch the Christmas tree lighting, then went to a lighted parade where he was a big hit with the crowd! When I need a dependable partner for any job, wild adventure, or just to go through the drive through coffee in town- Handy is my go-to! If you can’t tell by now, he is hands down my favorite horse. Don’t call a handyman when you can own this Handy horse!
