Handsome Rob



5 year old, 15.1 hand gray draft cross gelding.



Handsome Rob is a been there done that horse. He has seen miles of back country, been exposed to wolves and grizzly bears and is good to ride or pack. This gelding is by a draft cross stud out of a Peter McCue bred quarter horse mare. He is bigger boned but still quick and athletic.



He is good in all aspects of ranch work. Solid to one man doctor on or take him to the branding pen. He has spent lots of time in all seasons of ranch work, from calving, health checking the herd, fall gathers, etc., he’s a horse with a long solid resume.



Handsome Rob is good to haul, load and shoe. He’s easy to catch with grain. He is good in a herd setting and good around dogs. He would make a great horse for someone that wants to saddle up and go to work, with no funny business.
