Description:
Experience farming in the beautiful high desert of southeast Arizona. Nestled in the valley and surrounded by mountains at an elevation of 4000 feet, this irrigated farm is a total of 2457 acres, of which 1707 acres are irrigated by wells.

There are 15 Zimmatic sprinklers which are supplied water by a total of 20 wells. The depths range between 500-1100 feet. Half of the wells are less than 10 years old. There are 7 natural gas wells and the rest are electric. All pivots are equipped with FieldNet. 90% of the wells are tied together with underground pipe.

Crops grown on the farm include alfalfa, barley and wheat hay, corn, barley and pinto beans. Wheat/barley hay is planted in the fall and baled in the spring, followed by corn planted by mid June. Barley for grain is planted in February and harvested in early July followed by pinto beans. Average yields: barley/wheat hay 4 to 5.5 ton to the acre, corn average 200-250 bushel, barley grain 140-180 bushel, pintos are 25-30 sacks per acre. Alfalfa would be 10 ton for the season. We can get 6-7 cuts per season. There is an excellent grain

market for corn, typically $1.25+ over C.O.B. and has been as high as $2.00 over.

Improvements:
