About the Facility:

Privately-owned, 60-acre horse ranch, located in the Santa Monica Mountains, is seeking a highly experienced professional able to develop our program and oversee all facets of the day-to-day operations.



Job Description:

-Overseeing all facets of the operation.

-Develop Best of Class training program.

-Schedule vet & farrier visits.

-Supervise horse care; feeding, grooming, and medical treatment.

-Working knowledge of all ranch systems.

-Maintaining ranch equipment and vehicles.

-Weather & Fire Preparedness.

-Fulltime position. Saturday & Sunday required as workdays



Job Requirements:

-Best of class, Horseman/Trainer, western discipline, experienced in starting colts, reined cow horse and cutting.

-Experience in ‘natural horsemanship’, specifically, approaches championed by trainers like Ray Hunt, Tom Dorrance & Buck Brannaman.

-A mature individual with ties to the community would be a plus.

-Must be trustworthy, self-motivated, and dependable.

-Available to travel to shows, as needed.

-Able to load and drive a horse trailer.

-Applicant must be legal to work in the U.S.
