Description:
"Chelada” is a 7 year old tobiano draft cross gelding standing 16.2 hands. Despite his size, Chelada is an athletic gelding with speed and body control. He has experience in every aspect on the ranch and has also seen his fair share of arena lights. He spent his 3 year old year trail riding in the hills of Missouri and was used to carry the American flag at the Rodeo of the Ozarks for a military tribute as a 4 year old. He spent years 5 and 6 were spent working on cow/calf operations, in feedlots, and doctoring feeder calves on ranches in South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kentucky. Chelada is a phenomenal partner who has never objected to our wild adventures! He easily loads up in the trailer not knowing if it’s a 10 minute drive down the road or a 14 hour drive to a new state. He matches his riders skill level - he is very forgiving and beginner friendly, but can easily take it up a notch for an advanced rider when asked. We’ve shot .22 rifles off of him, carried sponsor flags in front of huge crowds, caught stray cattle, competed in ranch rodeos and team ropings, rode in Christmas parades, helped start colts, etc. You name it, he’s probably done it! This nice gelding has a lifetime of experience bundled into a flashy, athletic package in the prime of his life. Chelada has a huge personality with a gentle disposition to boot.
