Description:
SK Over the Moon, we call him Eddie, is a handsome sorrel john with the classic looks and talent you would expect from a Texas Scooter mule. He is a solid 15.1 hand, well built stock type mule out of a foundation bred AQHA registered mare. He is one of the last offspring of Choice’s 1st Eddition. Eddie was started under saddle by a reining trainer and we have continued working on finishing this talented young mule in the arena and on the trail. He has been ridden out alone without problems and also does fine in a group. He has been trail rode in the Cascade and Ochoco mountains of Eastern Oregon, hunted on in the rugged canyon of the Deschutes River, trail rode in the Eagle Cap Wilderness of Northeast Oregon and scouted elk in the Salmon River Canyon in Idaho. We have used Eddie to flag and pony colts and have shown him in Ranch Pleasure and Trail at Hells Canyon Mule Days where the judge fell in love with him. We have also used Eddie to move and sort cows and you can swing a rope and drag a log with him. Use him on the ranch, hunt or trail ride him in the mountains or take him to the show ring. This versatile and talented young mule has his whole life ahead of him and is only going to get better and more valuable to your program. He is up to date on hoof care, vaccinations, deworming and dental care. Eddie likes everyone. He is friendly, easy to catch and happy to go to work every day. He is good for the farrier, easy to clip and bath, loads right up in the trailer and happy to be groomed and fussed with, including ear scratches.
